Resources re: Post-Abortion Healing from The Jericho Plan

The following is a list of additional resources which you may turn to for personal study, and lists of organizations to whom you may refer women and men for counseling or additional information. This list will be periodically updated. If you or your congregation develop materials, such as a series of bulletin inserts, which may be help to others, please let us know.

You may receive a fax-on-demand update by calling the Elliot Institute from a fax machine handset. Once connected to our computerized communications center, just follow the touchtone menu to select the document(s) which you wish to have faxed to you. After the selections have been made, you will be told when to press the “receive” button. The “Resources” update, or other documents you request on post-abortion issues, will then be transmitted to you.

“Healing the Wounds,” c/o Pro-Life Activities Office, 521 S. 14th Street, Suite 203, Lincoln, NE 68508, (402) 477-7517. This is a very good, bulletin insert program called “Healing the Wounds.” In six brief flyers, congregations are educated on how abortion hurts women and how church communities can provide a healing environment for their members. You may find room for improvement, but this set is an excellent first start which demonstrates the power of the bulletin as a vehicle for “soft-sell” healing. These flyers are specifically written for a Catholic audience, but could easily be adapted for other denominations.
