Hello I just wanted to say I was pressured into having an abortion at 26 still havent got over it I am now 46 and in a happy marriage but cant have children now as I have severe endometriosis was the trauma and agony worth it no it wasn’t think carefully one pressured decision effects the rest of your life

Thank you so much for your website. It is very comforting to know that there are others out there who know how much women really do hurt after abortion. I am so happy that your website does not promote condemning women who have had abortions; but instead offers support and God’s forgiveness; which is the best way to begin a new life with Christ and help others to see the importance of pro life initiatives. I have never read a better book on post abortion healing than the Jericho Plan. It was a wonderful book because it talks about how condemning women who have had abortions does not solve the abortion issue. Women already condemn themselves, as I do myself, already over and over again. Instead, we need to hear about God’s love and forgiveness. By doing this, we can begin our healing and truly make an impact on preventing other women from experiencing the true pain and sorrow abortion causes, which they may not readily know, as I did, that follows abortion. “I am so happy that your website does not promote condemning women who have had abortions; but instead offers support and God’s forgiveness…” Why would they need God’s forgiveness? They didn’t do anything wrong. Abortion is a choice and should only be the business of the pregnant woman.

I know two lovely ladies – one older and one younger – who have both gone through abortions and they are doing very well. One of them even experienced profound relief after the procedure, and still feels relief.
I am sorry that you’ve been in such agony, and I wish you the best in the future. But please do not assume that all women who’ve had an abortion were torn apart by it. It is and should always remain a personal decision.
