Welcome to

OPERATION JERICHO -- NEW YORK

This page has links to all the documents you may wish to review about this project. You may not need to review all of these links, especially if you are already familiar with our work and the Operation Jericho concept. In that event, you can just rush straight to our "Count me in" page and sign up to be part of this campaign. Details about the different levels of involvement are described in the "You are Invited to Join Us" page under the section "How Can You Take Part?"

If you decide to participate as a co-sponsor, we will be happy to assist you with material that you can use to prepare grant proposals or fundraising letters. We sincerely believe that Operation Jericho will provide you with a specific project that will better enable you to raise funds.

Here are the links in the order I believe will be most useful for the average pro-life or post-abortion ministry leader:

"You are Invited to Join Us" Explains why it is important for your organization to support this effort, even at a the minimal "supporter" level which involves NO time or financial commitment.
"Count me in" A form to fill out indicating how much you want to be involved -- from hardly at all ("My blessings on your efforts") to deeply involved in a leadership role ("We want to be in charge of handling A, B & C").
Update Brief update of what has happened since Feb. 2001 in way of the unfolding of Operation Jericho
Executive Summary - Short Primarily intended for approaching potential donors who are most likely to be interested in this as a healing and conversion ministry.
Executive Summary - Long Primarily intended for approaching potential donors who are most likely to be interested in this as an anti-abortion effort.
Formal Grant Proposal Text of a formal grant proposal that might be made to a foundation or major donor.
Budget Also included in the grant proposal.
Letter for pastors

(To be used at the launch of the actual campaign.)

A rough draft of the first contact letter to be sent to pastors. It illustrates how we propose to use this campaign to overcome pastors' inclination to remain silent about abortion.
Example of Positive Results Comparison of Operation Jericho to the Project Rachel Jubilee Year Campaign of February 2000.
Time Table Includes more details than the grant proposal on the order of some activities
Endorsement Letter Text from the signed pledge of support from the NY pregnancy centers
List of Committed Supporters List of those who signed on prior to Feb 2001.  Coalition building was temporarily halted at that time as we concentrated on developing local resources that will be necessary to support the complete campaign.
