11 Years After FDA Approval, RU-486 Is Being Used Against Women
This year marks 11 years since the RU-486 abortion drug was approved for use in the United States. According to a report released this summer by the Food & Drug Administration, the deaths of at least 12 women and more than 2,200 adverse effects have been reported since the drug was approved.
The deaths include that of 18-year-old Holly Patterson, who died in 2003 after being told by Planned Parenthood that the symptoms she was experiencing after an RU-486 abortion were “normal.” Her family has now launched a web site, www.abortionpillrisks.org, to share Holly’s story and warn the public about the risks of RU-486.
Read our special report on RU-486 and how it is used to abuse and exploit pregnant women and their unborn children. Feel free to share this report with others on your web site, blog, social networking sites and other outlets.
The more I learn about the abortion issue, the more I see how diabolical it is. I can’t believe how women are abused, often while believing they deserve the right to abortion. Please keep up the good work. But how on earth can we at home help expose all this evil. It’s complicated and almost impossible to comprehend, that is, the numerous avenues taken by the exploiters. It makes me feel so helpless to help. May God in His Divine Will cause hearts to be moved by truth, justice and charity!
