  1. Do you have one pager and/or package that could go to prochoice legislators and National Organization of Women and United States Conference of Catholic B8ishops and the Vatican?I just asked Carol Maloney people from NY to check out your info..I am post abortive..Am horrified to STILL have to be dealing with prodeathers 37 years later.

  2. I am doing a research paper on the physical and psychological effects of abortion and I have been astounded to learn about the damage that is caused by abortion. I am also currently sitting in with a group of post-abortive women who are working throught their post-abortion trauma after years of anguish. I feel blessed that I got to see your post and I will be praying for you to continue to search for the truth so that you will be able to move forward in your life with strength and courage and peace. There is so much help for you and your baby. No child is unwanted. And no woman deserves to face a lifetime of regret and agony that aborting her baby is very likely to cause. God bless you.

  3. Does anyone wonder how abortion affect the fathers, especially the teen fathers. The psychological impact of abortion must be considered, especially if the father would want to raise the child instead of having the abortion. The mother has a choice, the father is usually not included in the decision making process. He must abide by the decision of the teen mother and her parents, how frustrating, especially if the child is wanted. The father is definitely the victim here, the mother has the control.

    1. Hi Vanessa, thanks for your comment. Yes, abortion certainly can have a strong psychological impact on men, including those who didn’t want the abortion (or maybe even only found out about it after the fact) and those who were involved in the decision and perhaps even pushed for abortion. Unfortunately this is a very overlooked issue, but more information about the psychological effects of abortion on men can be found here: http://www.theunchoice.com/men.htm and at abortionrisks.org (search the index for studies on “abortion decision making” and “men and abortion.” Also, here is an article on a 2008 study on the role of fathers in the abortion decision making process: http://afterabortion.org/2015/father-plays-key-role-in-abortion-decisions/.

There is also a small but growing number of organizations out there that provide support for men struggling after abortion: http://www.theunchoice.com/men.htm#resources
