Resources for Pastors and Speakers

Below are links to some free resources for pastors, preachers, speakers, youth and ministry leaders and anyone who will be talking or writing about pregnancy- and abortion-related issues from a faith perspective.

If you are a pastor or minister, the most important thing you can do to help is to speak from the pulpit about the abuse, exploitation, trauma and pain caused by abortion to all involved — and to offer a message of hope for those who are facing a crisis pregnancy or who have been involved in an abortion. This will include those who do not want to abort and who may be looking for another way (most abortions are unwanted or coerced) or those who are still struggling with the loss of their child and the abuse and exploitation that often accompany it. It will include those who were deceived by the abortion industry, medical professionals or others in trusted positions who may have coerced abortion. It will include teens, women, men and families who are scared or hurting. Your message can let them know that they are not alone, challenge others in your community to offer help and support, and help mobilize your church to defend the authentic rights of both the unborn and their parents.

Please read through these resources and use them as a guide to develop your message for Coerced Abortion Awareness Week, or at any time during the year. You will also find additional resources and ideas on our activities page.
