A Simple Christmas Outreach

“We are His feet, and hands …”
(Read the rest of Patricia’s comment below.)

Once again, the Elliot Institute is offering a free Christmas flyer, ad or poster. We welcome you to use it and share it anywhere and everywhere, where permitted.

Share it online, in print, on bulletin boards or as handouts … the sky’s the limit! (Unless you leave it in an airport, on an airplane or tied to an airborne balloon!)

Right now, someone near you is being coerced into an unwanted abortion or grieving the loss of a child (and often other abuses) that may have happened weeks, months or even years ago.

Share the gift of hope for individuals and families in your midst at Christmastime. Simply download and forward, print, copy and share this flyer.

You may also want to send a copy to your pastor, group leaders and others who may want to mention this issue or reach out in some way.

If you take one simple step, you will not only educate the public but also save a life (more likely many lives) today, tomorrow and in the years to come.

Here are some comments from Facebook participants:

“This event doesn’t require being anywhere, but downloading a flyer to share in your own community … Dear Lord, I pray for all to be given the gift of grace to speak the truth and to have the courage to stand in the gap for Christ! Amen!

“We are His feet, and hands, if we don’t act than that is an act, if we don’t speak and we are silent the silence is also speaking itself if we don’t proclaim the truth of abortion who will? Merry Christmas and Peace to our new year! — Patricia

“I”m going to hit all the ladies bathrooms in this city, the grocery stores, the library and city bus station …. thanks! God bless!” — Ella

There is still time to print or email copies of this flyer. It introduces new evidence that would shock most of the public — that, contrary to conventional wisdom, most abortions are unwanted or coerced; many forced — plus heartbreaking and even deadly aftereffects.

Teens are especially at risk of coercion, forced abortion and post-abortion trauma or even suicide. But women and men have also taken their own lives in abortion’s dark and often lonely aftermath.

In this season of joy that celebrates the birth of Jesus, let us also remember the unborn children at risk or lost, and the people among us who are hurting and may even feel despair or thoughts of suicide. Also, those families who lost not only an unborn child or grandchild, but also a daughter to abortion-related abuse, homicide, malpractice or post-abortion death, including but not limited to suicide.

Please pray over Christmas and in the coming year. The tide IS turning, thanks to you and others whose persistence and faith are bringing new hope and Christ’s light into the world.

Thank you and God bless you for your compassion.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

from all of us at the Elliot Institute
